I was cleaning out one of the final boxes from our big move TWO years ago and found the nice advertisement you printed when selling our condo. It's hard to believe how time has flown by! You were so nice to work with, and the two of us constantly comment to each other how grateful we are to have sold when we did! Back here we never tell anyone how much we got!!
But we were able to buy a beautiful townhouse AND the empty lot beside us, and furnish everything needing to be replaced or added by the contractor after our extensive shopping. And then have some left over!
Our local newspaper just mentioned today that South Dakota is one of the few states with over 8% growth in real estate purchases. Of course, many Californians would snub their noses at our winter weather!
But we grew up with it, and don't mind the four seasons. Thanks to your good salesmanship, we can still afford to keep our summer home up in the mountains which we hope to enjoy a few more years. Funny thing, it's only 25 miles apart from each home, but 3000 feet difference in altitude. Have you ever been to our beautiful Black Hills? Mt. Rushmore is only 50 miles away and we have lots to see here! Winter and summer sports are highlights that draw many here.
And did you buy a home down in the University Estates which we older folks call "THE HOLE"? We have lots of good friends there. I hope you did and are happily settled. Just want you to know both Paul and I were divorced when we met---I was 50 and he was 53 and here we are still happily married 32 years later!
Anyway---I don't mean to start up a major correspondence, but just "dropped in" to let you know how happy we were to have you "get us started on our new life"!
